On the occasion of Mahashivratri, innumerable devotees thronged Shri Sidhdata Ashram, Shri Laxminarayan Divyadhaam located in Faridabad, Haryana. On this occasion, devotees worshipped and carried out the Abhishekam rituals of Lord Shiva. Peethadheeshwar of the Divyadham, Srimad Jagadguru Ramanujacharya Swami Shri Purshottamacharya Ji Maharaj also worshipped Lord Shiva and offered blessings to all the devotees.

He said that as the name BHOLE of Lord Shiva, suggests, the lord Shiva acts immediately for the welfare of the devotees, and on the other hands he is also a symbol of strength for all. He said that Lord Shiva is such that he teaches a lesson of complete the journey of life to its devotees. He is called Neelkanth because he has retained the venom meant for others in his own throat, Lord Shiva adorns himself with the garland of the snakes, which symbolizes the crisis of the life; whereas his smiling posture indicates to remain level minded.Shri Guruji also offered prasadam to the devotees. On the occasion thousands of devotees took langar at ashram as well.
