The 74th Republic Day and the 16th foundation day of Swami Sudarshanacharya Sanskrit Veda Vedang College and Swami Sudarshanacharya Sanskrit Veda Vidyalaya were celebrated with joy and happiness at Swami Sudarshanacharya Veda Vedang Sanskrit College at Sri Laxminarayan Divyadham (Sri Siddhdata Ashram). On this occasion, Adhishta Anantashri Vibhushit Indraprastha and Haryana Peethadhishwar Shrimad Jagadguru Ramanujacharya Swami Shri Purushottamacharya Ji Maharaj hoisted the flag.

Vagdevi Saraswati poojan, Veda Bhagwan poojan, Yajna Upavit Sanskar of Batuk Brahmacharis were conducted in the college. Afterwards, Chairman of the College Srimad Jagadguru Ramanujacharya Swami Sri Purushottamacharya Ji Maharaj gave Brahma Gayatri Mantra Diksha and blessings to the celibates.

The principal and students of the college highlighted the importance of republic, independence, freedom and education through the medium of Sanskrit, Hindi and English. Many students instilled a passion for freedom in everyone by making various poses through yoga and dancing. He provided clothes and stationery to all the students and teachers.
