The birth anniversary of Swami Ramanuja, the founder of Ramanuja sect, was celebrated with great enthusiasm on the fourth day of the five-day 15th Brahmotsavam of Sri Siddhadata Ashram. According to the belief, Ramanuja Swami is considered to be the remaining incarnation, who in Kaliyuga connected people who were away from religion with religion.

The birth anniversary of commentator Ramanuja Swami was celebrated with great pomp at Sri Siddhadata Ashram and Sri Laxminarayan Divyadham, the main places of Ramanuja sect. Shrimad Jagadguru Ramanujacharya Swami Shri Purushottamacharya Ji Maharaj, the presiding officer of Shri Siddhadata Ashram, told that about a thousand years ago, on the instructions of the Lord, Sheshji incarnated as Ramanuja in Perumbudur in the south and associated people with religion on the rise of anti-religion practices. . He further established Guru Bhakti and Guru Gyan and propounded a specific Advaita principle for Jiva and Brahman. In his life of 120 years, he taught crores of people to follow the path of God. He established 72 Gadis in the country, which are still teaching people to practice religion. He commented on Vedanta, hence he is also known as Bhashyakar.

Swamiji worshiped the statue of the commentator Ramanuja with proper consecration and wished for the good fortune. He said that the sect came to be known only by the name of Ramanuja Swami, who re-propounded Guru Bhakti. Originally this sect was established by Mata Lakshmi ji herself, hence the name of this sect is also called Shri Sampradaya.

In the evening, a procession of Shri Ramanuja Swami was taken out outside the ashram, in which the devotees along with the Swamiji idol joined with drums and drums.
