This world is a misery, here one gets sorrow by wishing for happiness. To avoid this, chanting only one name is the only way.
Jagadguru Swami Purushottamacharya Ji Maharaj said this among the devotees on the Dussehra festival held at Shri Siddhadata Ashram today.
He said that as long as we wish for happiness, we do not get happiness, but when we wish for God, then happiness itself comes. For this the name of God should be chanted. Shri Guru Maharaj Ji said that speech in this beautiful human body is also the grace of God, whose beauty is in the name. Jagadguru Ramanujacharya Swami Shri Purushottamacharya Ji Maharaj said that one who takes recourse to the name of the Lord becomes happy. He said that if there is a need for rest, then do one thing, come in the shelter of Ram and do Ram Ram. Jagadguru Ramanujacharya Swami Shri Purushottamacharya Ji Maharaj said that today is the day of Mata Siddhidatri who is the one who bestows everything on everyone. I pray to God and Mother Aadya Shakti to fulfill all your wishes. On this occasion a huge crowd from the country and abroad attended here. The devotees who had been involved in the rituals for nine days also joined them. There has been a tradition of performing rituals in Shardiya Navratri here since the establishment of the ashram. Shri Guru Maharaj Ji also told everyone about the importance of Shardiya Navratri.
Earlier, he offered prayers at Shri Laxminarayan Divyadham at the samadhi of Lord Shri Laxminarayan and Shri Guru Maharaj ji at Smriti Sthal. Singer Lokesh Sharma, who came from Jaipur, along with his companions swayed the devotees to the melodious hymns. All the devotees who came on this occasion received blessings and prasad from Shri Guru Maharaj ji and also got food prasad.
Various types of delicious snacks were arranged for the devotees visiting the Dussehra festival on the parikrama road outside the ashram. In view of the hot weather, fans and water were also arranged for the devotees.
