Jagadguru Swami Shri Purushottamacharya Ji Maharaj said after giving Diksha to hundreds of people in Shri Siddhadata Ashram

Novices themselves should adopt humanity and get involved in public service. This message was given by Jagadguru Swami Shri Purushottamacharya Ji Maharaj, the President of Shri Siddhadata Ashram today in the initiation program. He initiated hundreds of devotees here. On this occasion, he said that by giving initiation in Sri Ramanuja tradition, we are trying to guide human beings on the path of humanity. The initiation of the Ramanuja tradition is not only for salvation, but also for the betterment of this world.

Swami Shri Purushottamacharya Ji Maharaj said that after joining this tradition you will feel spiritual changes in your life but you will have to accept physical and material changes yourself. He said that it has been explained to the novices that how they have to present themselves in the society with their changed form because on the basis of your character only people will see you, will see us. Swamiji said that all of you have taken refuge in God in the presence of Guru which means you have understood what is worth doing and what is worth giving up for you. That's why now you have to walk on the path of humanity. Which means you will work for the welfare of all living beings. No one should be harmed by your actions and in this way you will accept the will of God in your life. He engaged the devotees who arrived here early in the morning in the method of initiation and gave them initiation by giving them Yagya, Tapa, Pundra, Yajnopaveet and Naam. After this, everyone took refuge in front of Lord Srimannarayana by offering obeisances.

On this occasion, Swamiji applied a hot conch shell on the arms of all the devotees and recited the initiation mantra in their ears.
