Jhula Utsav comes to an end; Janmashatmi will be celebrated on 28th August

Thousands of the people participated in the the Jhula Utsav celebrated for the Lord Krishna, who rules the heart of the millions of the people, and the occasion was the Jhula Utsav organized in the Shri Lakshmi Narain Divya Dhaam Shri Sidhdata Ashram. In this celebration, thousands of the devotees visited the occasion and earned the good luck by swinging the Jhula.

Innumerable devotees thronged the Divya Dhaam to see the Lord Krishna sitting in a beautiful and charming Jhula. There everybody earned a fortune for themselves by swinging the Jhula with a lovely rope. This programme is organized every year a week before Shri Krishan Janmashtmi. The abbot of Divya Dhaam Shrimad Jagadguru Ramanujacharya Swami Purushotamacharya Ji Maharaj told that that the tradition of swinging the Jhula of the God dates back. As a result of participation in this kind of ceremony the individuals feel that they are being accompanied by the God. There is no doubt that those devotees with such feelings in their heart get the absolute happiness and bliss. He told that Shri Krishan Janamshtmi ceremony will be celebrated on 28th August in the Divya Dhaam and preparations for the same already have been completed. Late, after eight o clock, the God will be worshipped through various rituals and thereafter several kinds of cultural programs will be organized there. The artists from Vrindavan and Mathura have been invited to perform these cultural extravaganzas. In addition, the tableaus prepared by the volunteers from Divya Dhaam and teams close to the Delhi will prove to be the attraction of the occasion for all the people visiting there. In the midnight, when the birth ceremony of the Lala will be celebrated at its extremity, there after Prasad will be distributed and good luck will be earned by associating with the birth of Lord Krishna. It is expected that thousands of people will throng the occasion.
