The establishment of Ved Vedang Sanskrit MahaVidyalaya in Sidhdata Ashram came into effect after the Vaikunthvas (Passing away) of Pujya Swami Sudarshanacharyaji Maharaj by Swami Purshottamacharyaji whose true inspiration from Vaikunthvasi Shrimad Jagadguru Ramaunjacharya Swami Sudarshanacharyaji Maharaj which set it up as a fifth pillar of Shri Sidhdata Ashram.

The recognition of the Vidyalaya onto the Shastriya level in grammar, literature, Ved and Karamkand was given by SampoornAnand Sanskrit Vishwa Vidyala, Varanasi.

Recognition is needed for Acharya and their research in Shastriya level studies as per appropriate syllabus. Besides it, to patronize Vedic studies, Maharishi Sandipani, Rashtriya Vedvidha Pratishthan Ujjain, under the supervision of Bharat Sarkar Manav Sansthan Vikas Mantralaya, New Delhi, has given it complete cognition.

There has been a curriculum set here for the teaching and study of Vedas for the residing students as per ancient traditions. At the Vidyalaya free arrangement for the students engaged in Vedic studies, as per boarding, lodging and garments is being provided.

Direction towards the enhancement and progress of the Vidyalaya is on the shoulders of (Ex-Prachasraya Harayana Sanskrit Vidayapeeth Baghola, recognized by Vishwa Vidyalaya Rashtraya Sanskrit Sansthan Delhi), Dr. Gunjeshwaracharya, who has been successfully accomplishing his duty.

In this way propagation and expansion of Sanskrit language and Vedic studies along with other public welfare activities are being undertaken at the Ved Vedang Vidyalaya in Shri Sidhdata Ashram.

Swami Purshottamacharyaji's vision and tireless efforts aim towards upgrading and aggrandizing the Vidyalaya for its recognition on a universal level.
