Gopashtmi Pujan was held at a very large scale in Shri Narayan Goshala operated by Janhit Sewa Charitable of Shri Sidhdata Ashram. Speaking on the occasion Shri Guruji, Srimad Jagadguru Ramanujacharya Shri Purushottamacharya Ji Maharaj said that, Cows are the most sacred, auspicious and holy animal in Hindu religion and is also the base of Indian culture. He said that significance of Cows in India culture is such supreme that it is difficult to imagine India and its culture without the Holy animal. Enlightening thousands of followers of Ashram who were present on the occasion, on the importance of Cow, Shri Guruji said that Indian Cow houses the entire panorama of gods and goddesses and has been given the significance of mother as per the Shastras. Honourable Minister of Labour and Employment, Haryana State, Pt. Shri Shiv Charan Lal Sharma was also present to participate in Gopashtmi Pujan held at Shri Narayan Goshala. Pt. Shri Shiv Charan Lal Sharma said that he has visited numerous Goshala’s in his lifetime but cleanliness and personalised care to every Cow exhibited by Shri Narayan Goshala founded in 1990 by Srimad Jagadguru Ramanujacharya Shri Sudarshanacharya Ji Maharaj was remarkable and cannot be matched. On the occasion Shri Guruji and followers did Puja of Cows and Shri Guruji with his own hands fed hundreds of Cows at the Goshala.
