Navratri festival started from today at Shri Siddhadata Ashram on Surajkund Road. On this occasion, the overlord Jagadguru Ramanujacharya Swami Purushottamacharya Ji Maharaj performed Ghatasthapana and performed ritualistic worship. After this the rituals started here.

After the worship, Swami Purushottamacharya Ji Maharaj told that Navratri is actually a festival of worship of the power of God. In these nine days, we try to make ourselves clean and healthy, while praying, chanting names etc. to get the blessings of the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul. He told that in the festival of these nine days, both our soul and body get purified. We get freedom from the sorrows that are in our mind. In these days, we strengthen our vow that we have to always stick to the truth, defeat the wrong, not support the evil.

Jagadguru Swami Purushottamacharya ji told that in fact we worship Shakti in our daily life also. We know that without power nothing is possible. That's why we accumulate power by making every effort. This Navratri festival also teaches us, but for positive works, we should use power, store it, for this we should come under the shelter of God.

He told that Navratri comes four times in a year, but in these, the planets should keep Chaitra and Shardiya Navratri only. In this too, Shardiya Navratri must be kept. He also started the entire Navratri rituals here. In this ritual, the devotees will also chant the name with him for the accomplishment of their resolve. During this, he will take bhajans and digestible food and will offer sacrifices in a huge havan on the day of Navami.
