Without knowledge, man is like an animal, gives knowledge to satsang - Swami Purushottamacharya

The New Year program was celebrated with great simplicity at Shri Siddhadata Ashram. Devotees also came to congratulate on this day as the birthday of Peetadhipati Shrimad Jagadguru Ramanujacharya Swami Shri Purushottamacharya Ji Maharaj.

On this occasion Shri Guru Maharaj said that without knowledge man is like an animal. Due to lack of knowledge of right and wrong, there is no difference between man and animal, but through satsang man gets knowledge. The guru who makes a man dive into the ocean of ignorance and makes a man cross the ocean of knowledge is always revered. The one who lives by following the orders of the gurus definitely gets the blessings of God. He asked the devotees to give proper place to religion in their lives. Without religion there is no progress of man. He urged everyone to take a positive change in life by taking a new resolution in the new year.

On this occasion the eagerness of the devotees to wish Jagadguru Swami Purushottamacharya Ji Maharaj on his birthday and seek blessings on the occasion of New Year was seen among the devotees. Earlier, Shri Guru Maharaj offered prayers and prayers for the welfare of the Lord at Shri Laxminarayan Divyadham and at the Samadhi of Vaikunthvasi Guru Maharaj at the place of memory.

On this occasion, Swamiji also released the Sudarshanalok, the annuity of the ashram. At the same time, the initiation program was also announced on 23 January. Devotees will be able to take discipleship in this program which lasts all day. Singer Lokesh Sharma from Jaipur presented melodious hymns while beautiful cultural performances were also given by the children of the sevadars. Food prasad was arranged for all the devotees. The Ashram premises were decorated with beautiful lights and flower garlands.
