The festival of Sri Guru Purnima was celebrated with great pomp at Sri Siddhadata Ashram. On the first day of the two-day program, Adhipati Jagadguru Ramanujacharya Swami Purushottamacharya Ji Maharaj said that the glory of the Guru is so much that whatever God can give can also be received by Guru's grace.

Shri Guru Maharaj said that human life has been given for liberation. So make good use of it. After misusing it, you will have to be bound again and again in the shackles of births. He said that human life has been received by the grace of God. Human beings have a conscience which other living beings do not have. Even after this, if you do not make good use of this life, then you will have to keep wandering in many births. Swami Purushottamacharya ji told that the effect of many types of sanskars is seen in the life of a person, but when one receives the sacrament of initiation from the guru, then life changes. We have to accept the Guru's commands and teachings after accepting the Guru. He said that God also becomes his disciple to receive the Guru's blessings.

Swami Purushottamacharya Ji Maharaj said that the soul comes into this world in the cloak of human beings, but those who come to eradicate their diseases, they take discipleship and those who come to eradicate these diseases are called Sadgurus. Shri Guru Maharaj narrated the glory of Guru through many parables and hymns and asked to imbibe the Guru's teachings in life.

Prior to this, he worshiped the Lord at Shri Laxminarayan Divyadham and also prayed for the welfare of the people at the Samadhi of Vaikunthvasi Guru Maharaj. On this occasion, singer Lokesh Sharma, who came from Jaipur, Rajasthan, recited melodious hymns along with his companions. Shri Guru Maharaj gave blessings and prasad to all the devotees.
