Sudarshan Yagya was organized on the second day of the 16th Brahmotsavam organized in the presence of Jagadguru Ramanujacharya Swami Purushottamacharya Maharaj at Shri Lakshminarayan Divyadham. In which prayers were offered to God for the safety of the society. On this occasion, Swami Purushottamacharya prayed for the welfare of the people by offering oblations in the Yagya. On the other hand, the scholars who came from South India got the yagya done duly.

Thousands of devotees gather from all over the country and abroad for the Brahmotsavam held every year in the main areas of Sri Ramanuja sect, Sri Siddhadata Ashram and Lakshminarayan Divyadham. At the same time, it is also a unique experience to see the worship done in southern style. Swami Purushottamacharya told that the devotees get Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha by the Brahmotsavam which lasts for five days here. He told that Sudarshan Yagya was mainly performed today in which the students of our Gurukul also participated. The priests were anointed with sandalwood and sprinkled with rose water to cool down as they sat close to the sacred fire. The Yagya Kund or the fire place was decorated with fruits, flowers and auspicious rangoli.

The priests recited Shree Sukta, Purusha Sukta, Sudarshan Mantra and Sudarshan Ashtottara Shat Naam, while sitting at four different places in the Yagyashala, Chatusrthan Marchana was also performed. The divine abode resounded with the chants of Jai Srimannarayana and Jaigurudev.

Swami Purushottamacharya performed Purnahuti in the yagya and provided prasad and blessings to all the devotees. He told that those who participate in the Sudarshan Yagya, even those who have darshan, get protection and victory in life.
