Archakas from South India arrived to celebrate the 16th Brahmotsavam of Shri Lakshminarayan Divyadham

The five-day long 16th Brahmotsavam ceremony began with joy and gaiety at Shri Lakshminarayan Divyadham located at Shri Siddhadata Ashram. On this day other rituals started after installing the flag of Sri Ramanuja Sampradaya on Sri Garuda Stambha in Divyadham. There will be many religious and cultural events here every day till April 27, in which devotees from all over the world will participate.

The scholars of Sri Ramanuja Sampradaya, who came from South India, started the sequence of worship, Havan, Bhandara, Rath Yatras which lasted for five days under the leadership of Adhipati Jagadguru Ramanujacharya Swami Purushottamacharya. Sapling plantation, flag hoisting, Bheri Puja and Devta Avahan were organized on this occasion. In typical southern style, the worship of the priests is made on sight.

Dhol of Banchari and Nadaswaram of the South:

In Brahmotsav, the world famous Dhol Nagada Party of Banchari remains the center of attraction for the devotees and the devotees were seen dancing with the Banchari artistes. Banchari artists will make a splash here for five days. Along with them, artists of Nada Swaram from South India are also spreading South Indian aura in Divyadham.

What will be organized on five days:

After the invocation of the deities, there will be different types of worship for the next four days. In this, Chatusrthanarchanam and Sudarshan Yagya on 24th April, Chatusrthanarchanam on 25th April, marriage ceremony of Lord Sri Lakshminarayan, his consecration and procession on Vahan Seva and Paramacharya Bhashyakar Ramanuja Jayanti, Chatusrthanarchanam on 26th April and Mahapurna Aahuti on 27th April, Lord Sri Lakshminarayan and Mahabhishek and divine adornment of all other deities, huge procession and after that cultural programs, discourses and Bhandara will be organized.

Huge Kalash Yatras will also be organized in this on April 25 and 27, in which great enthusiasm is being seen among women devotees for participation.

What is the tradition of Brahmotsav:

Please tell that Shri Siddhadata Ashram has the pride of Indraprastha and Haryana's Peeth in South Indian Ramanuja Mat whose presiding deity is Shrimad Jagadguru Ramanujacharya Swami Purushottamacharya Maharaj. Shri Lakshminarayan Divyadham is established in the ashram premises itself, which was formally started in the year 2007. Since then Brahmotsav is celebrated here every year. In which the idols of God and other Gods and Goddesses are re-energized. In the Sri Vaishnava tradition, Brahmotsavam is celebrated in a way as the foundation day of the temple. This event in Divyadham starts from Akshaya Tritiya every year and continues for five days.

Swami Purushottamacharya told that Brahmotsavam is a combined event of the devotee and the Lord, the center of which is the divine abode. On this occasion special powers are present in the environment. Whom the devotees interview. We have also made special preparations for this special event. All the devotees of Sanatani Vaishnav tradition should participate in this along with their family members and best friends.
